Spb Communication Pack offers three powerful enhancements to the Windows Mobile platform, reinforced by a clever news reader, all intimately integrated and working to improve the Pocket PC user experience. All programs have Today Plug-Ins, which can be shown in a form of tabs in Spb Mobile Shell.

Usually the Spb Mobile Shell Today plug-in consists of 4 tabs:

Smart Launcher tab (uses state-of-the-art algorithm to select shortcuts to display)

Time tab (time in three cities and next alarm information)

Weather tab (forecasts for the next four days)

Photo Speed Dial tab (the most pleasant way to dial)

Instead of standard tabs Spb Mobile Shell Today plug-in can contain one of other three Today plug-ins. It makes the Today screen very customizable and helps to save the space.

Another program to be used as a tab is Spb GPRS Monitor. It will show you:

Connection statistics

Battery power

Screen backlight brightness adjustment

One-click connect/disconnect functionality

It also acts as the main Spb GPRS Monitor application launcher.

From the main application window you can set various options of Spb GPRS Monitor software as well as see statistics, charts and reports. GPRS Monitor allows you to see detailed traffic charts for a certain period of time:

Data received/sent

Hourly, daily and monthly views

Traffic amount and cost views

Inclusive amount usage

Addicted to reading? Then you have to try Spb Insight. The service offers over 1000 predefined newsfeed channels with easy and gratis subscriptions to select online resources. The Today plug-in can be shown as a single article or a list of unread articles.

This is how a typical channel list looks like. You can see channel names accompanied with icons taken from the channel source. For your convenience, not-yet-read channels are shown in bold with a counter of not-yet-read articles. You can use your hardware navigation buttons to move by the list and the "Action" key to open a channel.

The Now Screen appears every time you turn your device on if that option is set. Now Screen gives you quick and enjoyable way to check the status.

You can see your most important information with a quick glance. Even more importantly, you get the quickest and most direct way to respond as needed. For example, you can open your Inbox to read new emails with just a tap or with a couple of hardware key clicks.

On the Spb Mobile Shell "Now" screen you can find the Spb Phone Suite profile icon. There is no need to leave this screen to open the profile manager and choose an active profile.

The necessary profile can be selected from the Today plug-in in just a couple of taps or button presses.

You can also activate a certain profile only for a specified time interval. Just set the Silent profile before the important meeting for half an hour and you won't forget to return to normal mode as you may have done before!
